  • Ensure that your mobile is charged at least up to 70% so that installation process will occur without any interruption.
  • During flashing of this official firmware all data gets wiped, so it is recommended to take a backup of all important data in your mobile like SMS, MMS, APN, contacts etc. to the external microSD card.

Procedure to install Android 4.0.4 XXALHB firmware to Samsung Galaxy S Duos S7562:

  • Download Android 4.0.4 XXALHB on your computer. Extract that zip file.

  • Also download and install Odin v1.85 on your PC.

  • Now switch off your mobile. For getting into the downloading mode. Press & hold volume down + power button + home button simultaneously until you see downloading message on your mobile screen.
  • Now connect your mobile to PC via USB cable.
  • Open Odin v1.85 which you have installed on your PC. If your phone is connected properly you will see that one of your ID: COM box is turned yellow. If you dont get such a message make sure that you have installed mobile drivers properly.
  • Now click PDA button and select the S7562XXALHB_S7562ATOALH1_S7562XXLH5.tar.md5 file.
  • Please dont click anywhere in the Odin.
  • Click on the Start button for starting installation process. It will take a few minutes for installation. After successful flashing of firmware your mobile will be rebooted automatically showing pass massage in Odins message box.
  • However if your mobile get stuck or you get a fail message then exit the Odin, disconnect mobile from computer, remove battery and re-insert it and follow the above procedure again.
