Check if you’ve rooted your using Root Checker App. If it shows ‘Rooted’ then install Superuser from Play Store..
all worked fine had to use the fix permissions function – problem is every time i try and re-boot it just boots back into recovery mode – help!!!!!!!
You can’t use CWM with stock ROM. That’s why it is booting into recovery mode again & again.
If you’ve planned to flash a custom ROM then only keep CWM installed, otherwise flash any stock firmware to make your device work again..
Ah right i see thanks, did download a stock FW incase i needed to put it back on but i was able to recover it by just running odin again and all booted fine – thanks for quick response, i was thinking of putting a CFW of JB on but see various issues especially with wifi so think i’ll wait for the official overdue release of JB – though I dont think it will ever happen 🙁

It can be done only by flashing custom ROMs (like Cyanogenmod) & as of now there are no custom ROMs available for Ace Plus..

Left side button to the Home button..
I’ve successfully Installed Custom Recovery Over Stock Recovery. But unable to enter into the recovery mode.Pls help.
Switch off the device & Hold all the buttons together (Mentioned above)..
using vol up + home + power button is also one of the way to enter in the recovery mode as suggested by viraj but u can also try any app such as “rom manager”, “rom toolbox”, “root toolbox” etc to enter into the recovery mode easily…!!! 🙂
And please show me the process, how to un root ??!
To unroot Galaxy Ace Plus, flash this file : http://dl.dropbox.com/u/28963540/Root%20Package/Galaxy%20Ace%20Plus/Unroot.zip
thank you 🙂
then whats the use of rooting ??what changes can i make after rooting to my ace plus ??
You can use apps which requires root access (for eg. Titanium Backup)..
rooting n its uses:
as “admin” is to “pc” same “rooting” is to mobile..!!!!
1. you can increase your processor speed and install big apps.
2. u can install or uninstall system apps.
3. you have all the root acces to change any system file.
4. you can install custom roms.
etc etc./…..!!!!
eg. >> take the case of “galaxy fit”… if its not rooted then u cant install “swype” in that mobile but once its rooted n u its processor speed is increased you can easily install this app.. (tested practically…)
can u plz post dem as soon as sum r available?
hey i hav jst rooted my galaxy ace plus and hav installed d cwm.. wht i wntd 2 kno is whether dere are any good custom roms available fr dis device…
Sorry as of now, there is no custom ROM Available for Your Device
my phone cannot flash recovery mod and download mod, what should i do????i think my hone brick…
u can try flashing your phone using ODIN.
i think it will work. follow the procedure from the very starting.
( go in download mode>> connect usb >> wait for the box to become yellow (in odin)>> selected the required files>>slick on start>> wait till “pass” msg appears in box.)
hope it will work..!!! n dont worry about brick n ol cz there are lots of ways to make the phone work again… 🙂
there are many roms available for galaxy ace plus such as… gaple, inspiration, alacritus, kk9, cm 10.1… out of these “inspiration” rom is the most stable rom for galaxy ace plus. it is based on gingerbread 2.3.6 but it has ICS like user interface. everything is working in that rom..
